The “One Human” challenge, a world initiative that seeks to foster international unity by music, has launched a spectacular music video. The “One Human” tune and video contains 123 singers and instrumentalists from 110 Nations around the globe. The proceeds raised by the discharge of the tune and related fundraiser will profit UNICEF.
The challenge is led by musician and composer Graham Czach and was launched coinciding with the UN Nelson Mandela Worldwide Day weekend.
The recording options performances from well-known world music, pop, opera and rock acts, together with Kris Myers (Umphrey’s McGee), Canada-based award successful musician Alpha Yaya Diallo, Grammy award winner Dobet Gnahoré, Grammy award winner Al Walser, Greek star George Perris, New York Metropolis Opera soprano Tharanga Goonetilleke, and plenty of extra.
Czach composed and organized the tune for a world orchestra that features musical devices from a variety of traditions: Japanese Taiko drums, Indian sitar and santoor, West African jembe, Latin percussion, Scottish bagpipes, Arabic ud, European hurdy-gurdy and mandolin, together with Western Classical devices akin to trumpet, trombone, and strings.
