A re-enactment group is happy to be returning to Dover Citadel, and is searching for new members.
The historic constructing has hosted the first Foot Guards for 15 years, with redcoated lovers assembly for the primary time because the lockdown on Sunday, Might 2.

The re-enactors are dedicated to giving a traditionally correct impression of the regiment in 1815, when the well-known regiment helped win the Battle of Waterloo.

Members can study and play the fife, drum or bugle – the first Foot’s youngest ‘drummer boy’, Jack, joined at six-years-old and is now studying a spread of devices.
The group can also be accessible for college visits, weddings, fetes and different personal occasions.
